|Chemical Name||Potassium Sulphate|
|Molecular Weight||174.2592 g/mol|
|Synonyms||sulphate of potash, arcanite,potash of sulfur,sop,potassium sulfate,K2SO4|
K2SO4 does not contain chloride which can be harmful to some crops.Crops that are less sensitive may still require potassium sulfate for optimal growth if the soil accumulates chloride from irrigation water.
Potassium sulphate has many benefits including:
1.Enhances roots growth in plants.
2.Improve the yield and quality of plants.
3.Balances plants' metabolism to improve protein synthesis to energize plants for healthy growth.
4.Improves the immune system in plants so they become more resistant to diseases.
Potassium sulphate is preferred for these crops which include tobacco and some fruits and vegetables such as apples,almond,broccoli,carrots,cauliflower,cotton,potatoes,pepper,tomato...
Crops that are less sensitive may still require potassium sulphate for optimal growth if the soil accumulates chloride from irrigation water.
When used as base fertilizer or top dressing fertilizer, the dosage is 10-20 kg / 1 acre.
In the sandy soil, the base fertilizer should be used first, and then the top dressing should be done. The dosage is 15-25 kg/1 acre.
When used as root top dressing fertilizer, the spraying concentration is preferably 2.0-3.0%;
When used as seed fertilizer, the dosage is 1.5-2.5 kg / 1 acre.
